ORIENTATION

August, 22 2019, I attended an orientation event at CLSU Guest House with lecturers and friends from Indonesia, where we were introduced to culture, language, religion, region, food, and what the government system was like.

Do not forget also about the rules that we must obey while teaching in elementary school. There was a lot of information given that we did not forget also we were served a typical Philippine food called Pangcit, we usually call it bihun.

At 11.00 we carried out a campus tour with an introduction to how, when ClSU was established. First we arrived in Agri-Tourism Site for Luzon. We sing a song about CLSU song, and we look at the videos about CLSU.

At 12:00 we were invited to lunch by Mr. Joel at Jollibe, we are very happy because the campus is very concerned about us. Jollibe is a famous fast food in the Philippines.

Then we were invited to the plant laboratory located at CLSU, we were very impressed because there had access to a very good source of knowledge for the fields of science and agriculture. We were introduced to how mushroom processing is through video and lots of information that we got.

14.00 Then we were invited to the Institute for Climate Change and Environmental Management (ICCE).

There we learned a lot about various special types of animals, plants, and miniatures about natural beauty found in the Philippines.

     

We were also invited to tour some of the cultivation of plants found at CLSU, namely the RM Carres Laboratory, what kind of processing of vegetable cultivation is good and right. They also make natural fertilizer.

   

Next we were invited to goat farms and saw the results of its processing into ice cream which is very tasty. We like it very much because it is very characteristic.

Trip to the Philippies

August, 18 2019. I went to AdiSujipto Airport Yogyakarta, and I was late because I forgot about the schedule.

When check-in I have a problem, because my baggage overload, but finally I can enter the plan of Air Asia MJ-760. In-Flight for one hour I arrived in Jakarta. My friend and I went to Home stay for fifteen minutes, and I stay for five hours. After that we went to Soekarno Hatta Airport use the Grab car for Fifteen minuted and we arrived at Soekarno Hatta International Airport. In there we must to arrangement of Immigration.  

Before flight we waited for one hour with my friends from the University Education of Indonesia, her name is Deawishal and Ozza Tizara. 

 

The flight from Jakarta until Philippine (Manila) for five hours.
 

This is the first time I’m coming to Philippine. We arrived at 05.00, a.m. I’m so excited because Manila is very beautiful and the people are very friendly.  

Mr Jerremy fetch we use the pickup from CLSU, at 10.00 a.m.  

We breakfast in Cowking. The first time I tasted food in a restaurant in the Philippines with Mr. Jeremy, on various menus I find it difficult to find halal food for me, so I chose the chicken menu. On this chicken menu I was served with a brown sauce, at first I was hesitant to taste it but it turns out I really like the mushroom sauce provided here, because of the distinctive and unique flavor image.

I know the SEA-Teacher Program from My Coordinator gives announcement that they will give an opportunity to the student exchange program in ASEAN to be an teacher in Thailand and Philippines.  The first way to join the selection of students in this program is we should send our curriculum vitae to the coordinator of my coordinator in university.

Mei 28, 2019, when I have a free time, suddenly I’ve got a call from my coordinator of SEA-Teacher in my university. I very feel surprised. I can’t say anything a moment because I’mreally feeling speechless. He ask me several things seems like what my motivation to join this program, what my experience about teaching, and soon.

Juny 17th 2019. At Saturday night my handphone have a lot notification. The notification is I already invited to selected SEA-Teachers delegation. Ohh I’m very grateful and glad about that. The announcement said that I’ll be placed in Central Luzon State University, Philippines, there is another person for my department, She is Ozza Tizara. After that announcement, we have several meeting to prepare the departure, especially about the passport. I;m so lucky because I already have the passport so I just should be prepared for how to teaching.

In the coordinator meeting, Mr Rudha gives us contact student from Indonesia that have follow this program. She is delegation SEA-Teacher. I’m trying to cantact her to know more some information about the Philippines. We already have a chat and share about the Philippines and about his last experience in Philippines. She is very kind, he gives me a lot information that I can be prepared and be ready to go Philippines.
